Wings
Paintings & Bronze Sculptures
When envisioning the Wing series, I saw human forms sprouting wings - not angels - but empowered human beings - poised to fly. Within everyone is the impulse toward achievement, an inner quest. As we listen to our inner wisdom and persist in our practice, we can impel dreams into action. We can fly.

Human Race
Paintings
The colorful images in this series serve as reminders that despite our differences we all come from the same source. No matter how we view life, or what our perspective is, there is only one Human Race. Each image can be rotated, there is no ‘one view’, rather alternate ways of seeing the image. Like alternate ways of seeing each other.

Nocturnal
Paintings
We are all stardust. The figures in the Nocturnal series might evoke dreams. Schifrin’s weightless figures remind us of a tender, nighttime connection to one another. Floating in a vast night sky, there is no above or below – Schifrin’s entwined figures are designed to be viewed from any rotation of the canvas.
‘Art can be a reminder of our connection – To inspire the choice for gentleness - a reminder of tender, loving kindness.’ - Peter Schifrin
